Adding/Editing Code Tables

Adding/Editing Code Tables

Codes can be added and edited through Code Maintenance Module.

Once in the Code Maintenance Module, you will see a list of code categories. Click on the category you are interested in, and a list of code tables will be shown.

Scroll through the list until you locate the code table you are searching for and click the button on the left for that code table.

Once there, you can add a new code or edit existing codes. Keep in mind that the actual code cannot be edited. Only the description, IBR code, UCR code, NFIRS and NCIC can be edited.

For the offense code table:

For local offense codes, ICS recommends using the same code for the STATUTE and STATE codes as was used for the main CODE.
